Control valve

A control valve is a valve used to control the flow of a fluid, behaving as an orifice of continuously variable area, which modifies the pressure drop, as directed by the signal from a controller. This allows the control of flow and the consequent control of the process variables such as pressure, temperature and level.

In short, the regulating valve is the control body or final control element.

40% of the process variability is due to poor control valve performance. The noise generated by the valves not only produces damage by erosion but also environmental pollution. Pollutant emissions are an ecological imperative. The intelligence of the valves lies in the positioning.

Application in the production area

Every manufacturing process requires control, instrumentation engineering and process control have a direct impact on the productive sector in the following areas: design and maintenance.

Design

CVA has the ability to incorporate the basic measurement components, as well as the control loops, in the engineering development process of a project for the manufacture, construction and / or modification of industrial plant parameters.

Our instrumentation and process control engineer participates directly in the development of the technical specification sheets of the instruments that will integrate the control loops, as well as the control architecture, which will be used and review of the piping and instrumentation plans (D.T.I.), development of the control logic, which can be electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic.

Maintenance

Maintenance of the measurement and control instruments as well as the components of the process control loops.
